Hello, seekers of awesomeness! I finally took the Nestea plunge and got myself a deviantArt account. Now, you might be wondering who I am. Well, I'm sort of a hybrid rocker-geek from Queens who can do a few things with a pencil. I mean _drawing_ things, you sicko! I also watch _way_ more Cartoon Network than a man my age should. Anyway, the "LQC" in my username stands for "Lizard Queen Chronicles", which is the tentative title for the comic book I intend to create, if I ever come up with a good story idea to launch it with. (No story idea suggestions, please--I want to come up with story ideas on my own.) I envision the LQC as a rock-fueled action-comedy title, with plenty of flying fists, swordplay, magic, oddball characters, sight gags, and significant moments of drama, when appropriate. Actually, it's a catch-all project for all the characters I designed years ago and still love drawing today, as well as a few new characters, some created specifically for the LQC.
Many of the characters I've cast in the "Lizard Queen Chronic"--WHAT!!!--"cles" were created by my cousin and me during the years we used to play the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles RPG. Of the two of us, I was the one who could draw, so I designed all the characters' looks. The TMNT RPG focused almost exclusively on mutant animal characters (and human NPC's), but as we continued playing, I eventually introduced aliens, interdimensional beings, and the like into the campaign. So I owe a tip of the hat to Palladium Books (and, to a lesser extent, Eastman/Laird) for firing up my imagination. Well, if I ever find a hat that fits my gigantic Irish head, I'll tip it to those guys.
I don't think I have any LQC stuff that's ready for prime time here just yet, so I'll post some of the flotsam and jetsam I have lying around. Be patient. Once I polish them up, provided I don't chicken out, I'll start posting my LQC anthro, alien, and dragon pics.
